Granite Countertops in Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Custom-fabricated granite countertops for kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor BBQ areas — templated, cut, and installed by our stone division across Guanacaste.
Made to fit your home, not a catalog
Granite is the most durable countertop surface you can put in a coastal Costa Rican home. It shrugs off heat, humidity, and daily use, and every slab carries a pattern that no two kitchens will ever share.
We handle the full process — slab selection, on-site templating, fabrication, edge profiling, and installation — so seams, overhangs, and cutouts land exactly where they should.
Benefits of granite countertops
What makes granite the right surface for tropical kitchens, baths, and outdoor kitchens.
Heat and scratch resistant
Hot pans, knives, and heavy daily use won't mark a properly finished granite surface.
Built for humidity and salt air
Granite doesn't warp, swell, or delaminate the way laminate and some engineered surfaces do near the coast.
Sealed and low maintenance
A sealed slab wipes clean with soap and water — no special products, no refinishing cycles.
One-of-a-kind stone
Every slab has its own veining and movement, so your counter is genuinely unique to your home.
Adds resale value
Granite reads as a premium finish to buyers, renters, and vacation-rental guests alike.
Pairs with custom woodwork
We can build the cabinetry, vanity, or BBQ base beneath the stone in the same project.
Slabs, edges, and finishes
An overview of the options we work through with you before fabrication begins.
Slab selection
We review available granite slabs with you — colour, veining, and movement — and lay out the cuts so the pattern flows across the run.
Thickness & build-up
Standard slab thicknesses with optional laminated edges for a thicker, more substantial look on islands and bars.
Edge profiles
Eased, bevelled, bullnose, and ogee profiles — chosen to match the style of your cabinetry.
Cutouts & fittings
Precision cutouts for undermount or drop-in sinks, cooktops, faucets, and outdoor grill inserts.
Polishing & sealing
Edges are polished and the finished surface is sealed before we leave the site.
Matching backsplashes
Full-height or standard backsplashes cut from the same slab for a continuous look.

Frequently asked questions
The questions we're asked most about granite countertops.
How much do granite countertops cost?
Pricing depends on the slab you choose, total square metres, edge profile, and the number of cutouts. We measure on site and send a clear written quote with no obligation.
How long does the whole project take?
Most kitchens move from templating to installation within a couple of weeks, depending on slab availability. We confirm dates with you before starting.
Does granite need to be sealed?
Yes. We seal every installation before handover, and resealing periodically keeps the stone stain-resistant. It's a simple job you can do yourself.
Can granite be used outdoors?
Absolutely — granite is one of the best choices for outdoor BBQ counters and pool-side bars in Guanacaste's climate.
Do you remove the old countertop?
Yes, removal and disposal of the existing top can be included in your quote — just let us know during the consultation.
Which areas do you serve?
We install throughout Guanacaste, including Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo, Potrero, Nosara, Sámara, and the surrounding communities.
